The 420 room Palm Springs Wyndham Hotel is a part of a two building project developed by the City of Palm Springs, California. It also includes a 100,000 s.f. Convention Center and conferencing rooms. James R. Combs was the Hotel Designer and Project Manager and Miguel Miguel was the Project Architect for HNTB Architects, Engineers & Planners. Mr. Combs explained that the design of both buildings centered on a luxurious oasis garden and pool courtyard which provides convenient access to all of the facilities of the hotel and convention center. The architectural styling of the buildings reflects the traditional early California and Palm Springs desert resort architecture.
